Materials to meet the most demanding needs The X-Lander is based on the same technology as the Vector, but it is made of more stylish and more distinctive materials. This makes it wearable not only outdoors; it is a first-class companion also in the office and in the city. The materials are non-allergenic aluminum casing, durable mineral crystal glass and weatherproof leather band. An electroluminescent backlight and a user-replaceable battery also belong to the practical features of the X-Lander. Measure your vertical performance The altimeter features a range up to 9 000 m/ 29 500 ft, which puts all 14 of the world’s 8000+ meter summits within the avid climber’s range. It also features an adjustable altitude alarm, as well as different memory functions. With the logbook function you can record total and cumulative vertical ascents and descents, as well as the number of runs skied. Keep ahead of the storm The X-Lander displays the current barometric pressure and temperature, which is valuable information for forecasting the weather changes. The X-Lander automatically records barometric data for the past four days: the first six hours in one-hour intervals and after that in six-hour intervals. The compass can also be set to track a certain bearing, which helps following of the chosen direction in the terrain. The declination adjustment function allows the user to correct the difference between true North and magnetic North. A reliable time keeper In addition to the different outdoor-related functions, the X-Lander also displays normal time. It has three daily alarms, a calendar programmed to the year 2089, and a stopwatch with split time measurement and a countdown timer. The time can be shown in 12 or 24 hour format.
